Getting Registered
For a firm or individual to register in Manitoba, they first must:
- select the applicable registration categories - Firm and Individuals
- determine if they are required to register in more than one province or territory
- complete and submit an application
- pay registration fees
- be approved by The Manitoba Securities Commission
Firms are also required to enrol with the National Registration Database (NRD) and be issued an NRD number in order to apply for registration. Firms must also submit all other forms and notices related to its registration to the applicable jurisdiction. The registration of individuals is submitted by way of NRD.
